In doing a deep dive in Lost Bets Games, it seems that while the underlying theme of games and dares leading to nudity and even sex has existed from the beginning in 2009, the site has evolved over those 16 years. Back in the early days, nudity was more prevalent than sexual contact. Back in the early days, the scenes were almost exclusively G/G. The models were primarily amateurs or lesser-known porn models.

As the site evolved, men began appearing in the scenes, though usually not in a sex role. The scenes remained primarily G/G. A further evolution saw the addition of some scenes shot in Europe, with some well-known and lesser-known porn models.

For fans of 4K, I recommend not getting your hopes up. While I randomly found several scenes that offered 4K resolution, those aren’t listed, nor can you sort for them easily. The most reliable indicator that the resolution is 4K will be the file size, which is listed on the download button. When a file size is getting above 3 GB, you can be reasonably sure that it is in 4K for both download and streaming.

I’ve listed the average scene length at 15 minutes, though readers should note that there is a lot of variability. There are some scenes that last five minutes, and some that go longer than 30 minutes.

Production values are good for a site that isn’t affiliated with any mainstream studio. The scenes use a mix of fixed and handheld cameras, with most of the camera work being quite good. The lighting, sound, and editing are all good quality. Video quality is good.

I didn’t list any information on photos or screenshots, but readers should note that Lost Bets Games does offer some of those. Much like finding a scene with a 4K resolution video, finding a scene that has an associated photo set is like finding a needle in a haystack. The site offers no way to sort for photo sets or even scenes with photo sets. If you collect photo sets, the best you can hope for is stumbling on a scene that has one.
For those available photo sets, given that there are so few of them it’s difficult to peg an average size, but a guess is an average of 40 photos per set. Of the few sets I found, the photos were an impressive resolution at up to 9248x6936. The few photo sets that I found were only available to view online and had no zip option.

Readers should note that Lost Bets Games is set up so that when you open the link to a scene, autoplay is activated and the video will start to play immediately. I don’t make this comment as either a pro or a con, but for those of you who browse porn surreptitiously, you’ll need to be aware of this. Making the autoplay consideration even more important is that the volume on the scenes can vary quite a bit. You might turn your speakers up to better hear a low-volume scene, and then the next scene you click on might shatter your eardrums.

Lost Bets Games also includes bonus videos. There are currently 696 bonus videos available with a new one being added every three days. These are non-exclusive scenes from major studios. As an avid collector, I recognize many of the bonus videos as being from approximately 20 years ago. While some of them identify the model featured, many do not, and none of them identify the movie in which they originally appeared. As with the exclusive videos in the main library, only one resolution is available for both streaming and downloads.
As someone who collects videos from that era, having access to these bonus scenes is a real advantage, but the advantage is diminished by not having them properly labelled. However, for someone who is more of a porn connoisseur than a porn collector, then having access to the scenes is likely to be valuable.

As much as I like the scenes offered at Lost Bets Games, and I do like them, the website has an outdated design and it could really use an upgrade. The basic things like sorting, watching scenes, and downloading scenes work well. There is a text search box, but no model index, and no keyword index. As I’ve mentioned previously, all videos are available in only one resolution.

The only way to search by model or tag is to find a scene with that specific model or tag, and click the link within that scene. But even then, you won’t find everything, because many scenes are missing the proper tags. To give an example, I clicked on the “lesbian” tag on a scene and this displayed approximately 50 results. After having done a deep dive in the site, it’s realistic to say that at least 700 scenes here feature lesbian sex. Likewise, when I searched the term “lesbian” using the search box, it only revealed approximately 30 scenes.

The website is not optimized for mobile devices, but it’s usable. For most people browsing the site on a small screen, the only real drawback will be having to zoom in to be able to see the scene thumbnails, descriptions, and model names. The video playback works nicely on mobile if you have an okay connection, as you can put the videos on full screen - or even download them and play them in your device’s video player app. The reason I mention the internet connection is that the videos are only available in one resolution. If you have a very bad internet connection that has issues with streaming and downloading HD videos, it can be a problem.

When Lost Bets Games was created in 2009, the owners had no idea the site would still be active 16 years later and would soon be hitting 1000 scenes. Still, they had plenty of time to upgrade the website and add the missing features and tags since then.
